Nintendo announced that is it going to be including a Wiimote jacket in all of its future sales of Wii hardware. The jackets are built to provide some cushion to the Wiimote or anything it hits if it flies out of the users hand or bumps into anything during play.
In addition to this news, they are also offering free Wiimote jackets to all people who have already purchased a Wii. All you need to do is go to the Nintendo website and fill in your Wii's serial number, how many you need (1-4) and your mailing info. Shipping time isn't too bad either. The free covers start shipping on October 15th, 2007 and should take about 5-10 days for delivery _base_d on your location.
