If you have a favorite freeware software application (not trial ware) but 100% free and you think others would benefit by it please post it with a short de_script_ion "what its for, Windows OS its compatible with and a _link_ to download from.

Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

For Firefox

Click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.

For Opera

Click Opera at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.

Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

One of my favorites is PDFCreator which allows a Windows (95/98/NT/2000/XP) user to print to a PDF file rather than a printer.

Great for saving anything that prints for later. Also good if you want to email or otherwise send a piece of information to someone. You can download this invaluable tool at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/

Another good tool is Gnome Partition Editor which is just that a non destructive partition editor. This tool is invaluable as a means by which you can create and edit your computers partions. The only thing you need to run this tool is the ability to set your computer to boot from a CD. You can learn more about and download this tool here: http://gparted.sourceforge.net/

Pixia

This is a freeware painting and retouch software for full color graphics, supports mask, _layer_ and many other editing options. You can use your own customized brush tips and even use an image file as a brush tip to create unique effects, Pixia supports the most common editing techniques and presents a user friendly interface, it has similarities with Paint Shop Pro and Paint.Net but its outstanding fetcher is the drag resize and paste, for freeware its brilliant,. Screen shot and download _link_s below

Read more and download if you wish > Pixia v3.3a

Note Pixia v 4 has been released "but still has some bugs" if you want to try version 4 you can download here > Pixia v4

Just thought I had better say that this tool can be dangerous so make sure that you have backups of your important files and that you fully understand how the tool works. Especially if you are using it on your main system volume. A good rule is to always partition with the highest level of caution.
